It was
a very interesting start of the lesson as we learnt about
the new pope, Francis, who had just been elected. We also
talked about the atmosphere in the studio of the TV show 'Wer
wird Millionär'.
In our
grammar section we talked about the auxiliary verbs to do,
to have, and to be. The latter, we must still talk about in
detail. Then it is the modal auxiliaries.

We learnt
to know each other and we discussed some typical mistakes
with regard to the present perfect and to like+infinitve
as well as to like+gerund.
We also
discussed the verb, the declined present tense forms, the
past tense as a tense form, and the past participle as a verb
form that cannot be used without an auxiliary verb. We also
talked about the difference between the gerund and the present
participle. Click
here for the information sheet.
We also
listened to a report about a children's fashion show. Click
